back again

Long time no see. I took a little break but here I am again.
My aunt Luise and I had an amazing time in NYC.
I took so many pictures and I will share a few of them with you within the next days.
But first I'm posting a few pictures I took in Vienna before our travel.

Some more things that I want to tell you:
• I bought myself a flickr pro account! You can now round the clock look at my pictures.
Currently, I have uploaded 831 photos. Enjoy!
• On wednesday, we said goodbye to Marlene and Michi.
They moved to Canada, more precisely to Halifax, Nova Scotia.
I wish them all the best and I'm so excited to read more on their blog.
I'll miss you two!!!
• Last Sunday, Stephan and I assembled the last lamp and hung up two prints by Camilla Engman.
Our new flat feels like home.
• Yesterday, we invited our parents for lunch.
We had a potato soup with chantarelles, grilled beef zucchini orange spits with tsatsiki and rice/flat bread/salad and
raspberry peach brownies.
It was really a challange to cook for 6 people!
• I have been so damn enjoying browsing the food and flowers at the farmer's market at Yppenplatz.
Yesterday, I came home with so many things, apricots, my favorite green summer apples, flowers...
• I passed the aptitude test for the pedagogical university I'm going to attend from October.
• I finished reading Daniel Glattauers Gut gegen Nordwind and started with Daniel Kehlmanns Die Vermessung der Welt.
• On the flight from Amsterdam to NYC, I watched a nice movie, He's Just Not That Into You.
But the movie I really have to recommend is the new one by Woody Allen, Whatever Works.
One of the best movies I have seen lately!

Were you in Amsterdam, or just travelling through?

  2. I was just travelling through but on my way back home I spent a few days at my aunt's place in Scheveningen. I love the Netherlands and I'm currently thinking about spending two more weeks there in August. Do you live in Amsterdam?
