This might be the saddest blog post I have ever written. Schnurrli, our beloved cat wo lived in the countryside, died. I know she had a fulfilling cat life - she got almost 18 years old. Last weekend when we visited Stephan's parents, I found myself looking at the front door which is made of frosted glass, searching for Schnurrli's contour. The rooms of the big house feel empty. There will be no purring, no chattering noise anymore. No one who wants to play with my yarn. So sad.

These three photos have been taken out of context but I wanted to show them to you. I took the first one in Leipzig, the second in Vienna and the third one at a good restaurant somewhere in the countryside.
Welcome summer - it's cold and rainy here :)

The Baumwollspinnerei in Leipzig is a place that left a huge impression on me. Walking around the factory complex felt like being part of a movie set in olden times. I stumbled upon artists' studios, galleries and a nice café - I could have spent much more time there.
Have a nice weekend.
