celebrations

Oh, I have to celebrate!
I passed my diploma examination in German literature.
And it was a really pleasant exam. So much better than the first one.
And we moved into our beautiful new flat.
I got a letter from Tatjana and Henrik, an invitation to their wedding party in Macedonia.
Spring is near!
I'm going to store my mufflers and tights.
I'm happy.
It feels like a new beginning.

weltcafé

One of my favorite cafes in Vienna is the Weltcafé.
I especially love the daily lunch menus. They are always delicious.

I'm currently studying for my diploma examination.
I have been reading a few thousand pages the last few weeks.
Next Wednesday should be the last day at Vienna's University. Ever.

And on Thursday, we'll get our new kitchen.
I can't wait to move!

This weekend, I stayed in Waldviertel, a very beautiful part of Austria.

We welcomed back Stephan's cousin Irmi.

She came back after 1 year in Mozambique.

I had a really busy week.
Good things happened (I won't mention the bad ones):
Stephan and I got the keys for our new flat.
Gym lessons started again, after a one-month break.

Michi and Marlene have already booked their flight to Canada in July.

Richard and Birgit showed us a spot I didn't know before: Lobbyn in central Umeå.

Yesterday, Stephan and I went to the beautiful restaurant Schöne Perle.
I haven't been there for a long time since nobody I know lives in that district anymore.

A new week. It's going to be an exciting one for me.
Tomorrow, we'll get the keys for our new flat!

In Umeå, Stephan and I slept over at Birgit's.
I enjoyed our breakfasts on cozy mornings.
And I'm looking forward to seeing Birgit and Richard again in April!
