My favourite kind of weekend are ones just like that. Good weather is keeping me in high spirits, listening to good music, cycling around in the city, eating good food at Nordpol, enjoying the sun.

Last Monday, I visited my parents in their house in the countryside. I'll show you a few pictures from this little village where I spent much of my childhood.

Oh, I really had a perfect long weekend! After a 20 km bike tour on Sunday, I cooked this delicious lunch. And I spent Monday and Tuesday in the countryside, visiting parents & grandparents. I enjoyed being outdoors! I've never liked good weather as much as this year.

The new snack by Manner is delicious, but there could be nothing better than a self baked cake like this one! I made a rhubarb compote, too, but it turned out a little bit too sour.
I'm enjoying my flat. My balcony is getting greener and greener and it will be wonderful in summer.

Another weekend and yet more crap weather. But when I came home today, I found those homemade brownies on the kitchen table! You see, everything's fine.
Last week, we had asparagus for the first time this year. And I wanted to show you these amazing drawings by preschoolers :)
