goodbye
This might be the saddest blog post I have ever written. Schnurrli, our beloved cat wo lived in the countryside, died. I know she had a fulfilling cat life - she got almost 18 years old. Last weekend when we visited Stephan's parents, I found myself looking at the front door which is made of frosted glass, searching for Schnurrli's contour. The rooms of the big house feel empty. There will be no purring, no chattering noise anymore. No one who wants to play with my yarn. So sad.

I have been there, it is very sad. Sorry for your loss.
Oh boo, I'm so sorry to hear that. How sad. 18 years was a great cat age, so I'm sure you have many memories to treasure. Take care.
oh no, i'm so sorry. :( losing a cat is so sad. they are truly the best companions.
oh... i'm so sorry for your loss :'(
Thank you so much for your kind words... It must be hard for Stephan's parents who had Schnurrli around every day.
Dear Irene,
So sorry for your loss of a great being and a play mate.
Still, when I visit home after about 10 years that I moved out from my parents´, the first thing I search for is our cat, who passed the same summer that I moved out. It was just always the first thing that I saw when I got home: an orange-white cat appearing from somewhere ready for a little snuggle or a game or two.
Tight hugs!
Very sorry for you and Stephan and his parents. Our furry friends become so much a part of our lives that when gone there is a surprisingly large emptiness. But it is always a good thing to remember the happiness they brought.
Lilla katten. Så söt.
Oh dear. I am so very sorry to read this. Your fine feline Schnurrli looked like a loving friend. Homes feel so very empty when a beloved pet is no longer there.
Again I'm really overwhelmed by your comments on my latest post. Thank you so much for your support.
I am so sorry. My dog recently passed away and it is amazing how I will find myself looking for his presence in familiar spots, only to remember that he is no longer there.
Das tut mir sehr leid!
I'm so sorry for you, Stephan and his parents!
It broke my heart reading your post.
I have a cat myself, also 18 years old, looking exactly like Schnurrli.
Having him around for such a long time (as long as my husband and I are together) it makes me wonder now and again.
I notice him getting older and knowing I'm gonna loose him one day makes me really sad.
But it also makes me enjoy his presence right now even more.
Take care.

sorry to hear this. 18 years is a lovely age for a cat and i am sure he had such a good life at his parents. At thehome of my friend his parents one of the two cats died and now the oldest is also 16 years old.
Wishing you the best !
oh thank you so much for your words!
