Fika at Café String. Girls wearing thin leggings while I was damn freezing. Coffee in thermos jugs. This was our last afternoon in Stockholm. Time passed by too quickly.
Another Saturday at work. I hope, you're able to enjoy your weekend!
I'm so glad to finally receive comments from you! And I'm thrilled that you like my pictures. There are just a few from Stockholm left, afterwards I'll post my Umeå pictures.
In Södermalm, we had lunch at Svart Kaffe. It took me almost half an hour to decide on which sandwich to have. I grabbed the day's offer, a vegan special with hummus and vegetables.
The first few pictures of Södermalm. I loved this district. Nice shops, cozy cafés. See more soon!
Yesterday, I had lunch at the Weltcafe. Daily lunch, water in jugs and lots of mothers with their babies. Just for a few seconds, Vienna reminded me of Stockholm. Today, I'm going to meet Andrea's newborn daughter Lena. Welcome to this world!
I deliberated a while about whether I should post those tourist pictures or not. I like the unknown streets, corners, backyards of a city. The things you don't find in every travel guide. However, touristy Stockholm is really worth a look.
Some pictures I took in Stockholm on February 11th. Stephan and I enjoyed the delicious breakfast at Scandic Park. Afterwards we walked through Östermalm, passed the Saluhall and came to Nybroviken. The view reminded me of Söderberg's novel Förvillelser.
Yesterday evening, I watched the Austrian movie Revanche. The movie didn't win the Oscar. Snow in Vienna causes chaos. In the morning, a snowplough killed a jogger. The snow is melting. What will this day bring?
