Fall Colours & Fish Watching

All those beautiful fall colours around make me forget about rain and cold wind. J and I went to the Schönbrunn Zoo. J is absolutely fascinated by water, he loves checking out the aquarium!

Let's search for a Z

There are few nice cafés or other interesting spots in suburban Vienna, but definitely there are some good, hidden places. One of them is Café Z.

A Walk, Coffee and Luxemburgerli

A couple of weeks ago, we headed out to the countryside and had a very belated birthday lunch with my sister in-law. Afterwards, we took a walk in the drizzling rain and came back to the cozy restaurant for coffee and cakes. As you can see in the last picture, my dad was very, very kind to me. From his trip to Zurich, he brought home some marvellous Luxemburgerli from Confiserie Sprüngli.

Summer so far

I could find my way back to this space, I just don't feel ready for daily or weekly routines. These are just a few moments I captured this summer. My little boy is five months old now and starts crawling. J has so much energy, he already eats mashed vegetables and beef, he loves to drool, puts everything in his mouth, he babbles and laughs a lot! We make many day trips, J loves nature, and our days are so much fun. We were heading out on family vacations twice – more about that soon!

Easter Brunch

On Easter Monday, we had a fantastic brunch together with our closest family. So good!

Easter Vacation

The three of us truly needed a vacation – it was J's first one! We spent some wonderful days with J's grandparents and family in Waldviertel.

Sunshine and good things

The last two weeks were filled with sunshine and many good things: breakfasts with babyphone, coffee time outside on my balcony, walks together with J in his stroller, delicious pralines S brought home, a Sunday brunch with my sister-in-law and her boyfriend and a walk in the woods.

Dunes & The Sea

These are the last glimpses from our summer holidays in July and August 2013. We took a bike ride from Scheveningen to Katwijk, where we had lunch at De Bonte Kraai.
