Here are some pictures from the farmers' market I did on Saturday. The market was overflowing! The apples, damsons and peaches are so damn good right now. And the apples have such beautiful names as Summerred and Early Gold. At home, I made a cinnamon apple cake using this recipe.

I think this photo deserves its own post. On the one hand, I'd like to announce to you a new era: From now on, I'll be taking my photographs with an Olympus PEN E-PL1. It's an early birthday present. And such a good one!

On the other hand, I can tell you about one of my little passions: ice cream. Can you fancy summer in Vienna without queuing up at ice cream parlors? I can't, and the spot where I got the cup you see above is just a short hop from where I live. Another secret: I haven't enjoyed the best ice cream in this city, but in Munich. Milk mint and chocolate ginger, oh my gosh! What's your favorite ice cream flavor?

Please, summer, just stay a little bit longer.
